Born in London, Naomi Campbell is among the five original supermodels. During her career, Naomi has poised the covers of over 500 magazines. As dazzling as ever, Naomi Campbell appeared not to have aged at all, at the recent NYC red-carpet event. The 46-year-old catwalk veteran wore a revealing cutaway dress that left little to imagine. The floor length gown which showcased her beautiful physique had panels that had been strategically placed to protect her modesty. As she flaunted her faultless skin, Naomi appeared uncharacteristically joyful. Her toned and firm tummy was visible.
To complete her elegant look, Naomi added a bit of kohl, and plum toned lipstick.
Her charity work
Apart from her work, Naomi Campbell has also been involved in an impressive amount of charity work and fundraising in South Africa and around the world. Her charity work began in 1993 with Nelson Mandela. In 1997, Mandela named Naomi an “Honorary Granddaughter” due to her endless activism.
In 2005, she created Fashion for Relief and organized its very first charity fashion show that raised money for victims of the Hurricane Katrina that happened in New Orleans. Since the inception, the Fashion for Relief has organized shows in London, Moscow, Dar es Salaam, Mumbai, New York and Cannes and has raised a lot of money for various causes.
Naomi continues to be a dominant force in the fashion industry. She has utilized her success to demonstrate her entrepreneurship skills while always helping others through her charity work.
